Brooke's Swim Meet!

We went to Baton Rouge this weekend for Brooke's City Swim Meet & to celebrate Jason's Birthday! It was a very busy Saturday, but we all had the best time! Kennedy was quite a little trooper & loved spending time with her cousins. Our nieces, Brooke & Lindsey, are quite the little swimmers! Brooke is on the swim team for the Baton Rouge Country Club & I have to brag...one of the Best Swimmers in the State of Louisiana! Below are some pictures & videos from her Swim Meet. Brooke did great! Brooke's team won 1st Place Overall in the Meet & Brooke came in 2nd Overall! We are so proud of her...only 8 years old & already has Olympic potential!

Happy Birthday Uncle Jason!

After the Swim Meet, we all went back to the house to celebrate Jason's Birthday! We were so glad to be there to celebrate with him on his special day! After cake, Jeremy & Jason played golf, then meet up with us girls to swim for a while & after a wonderful dinner the guys caught a late movie. It was quite a busy day, but worth every minute! Jeremy & Jason really enjoyed spending time together. We wish we could see them more often!

Happy 3rd Birthday Lily!

Been too Busy to Blog!

Things have been super busy & sometimes being a full time working mom does not allow much time to blog....but I have a second & I do mean a second (I am in the middle of an online CE course!)...so here's a couple of things that we've been up too.

Mom's first night away from Kennedy

Last Sunday was the first time I ever had to spend the night away from Kennedy & it was very hard on me. I had to go to Tupelo, MS for an IRS Audit (with the economy going bad, I seem to be handling a lot of those lately!) I must admit...it was the first time I considered not going back to work...not to worry though, everything was fine & that thought quickly faded away by Tuesday. Kennedy & Jeremy of course did fine, but I worried the whole time. It will definitely be easier the next time.

It's True...Will Blount is Married!

Will Blount & Rachel Davis got married this past weekend & it was a wonderful ceremony & reception. Jeremy's parents came to town for the Wedding & we all had a wonderful time celebrating with the Blount & Davis Families! Here are some pictures from the wedding events.

Father's Day Weekend!

We all had a wonderful Father's Day Weekend. Jeremy, Kennedy & I hung out with my dad most of Saturday, went to Church with Dad on Father's Day & then my sister made dinner for everyone. We feel truly blessed to have such wonderful Dads in our family. I know the Best part of my dad's weekend was being with his girls!

Gigi picked Kennedy up from Daycare on Friday & when Jeremy & I came to Strong Road to get Kennedy, we found her driving around. She was having the best time. I know she hopes Gigi or Papa C will pick her up again soon! They have great toys at their house!...Special thanks to the Tucker Family for the new car!

We took Kennedy to Orange Beach for her 1st Beach Trip and we all had a BLAST! Kennedy swam like a little fish, dug in the sand & played in the ocean! She wasn't afraid of anything & was the best baby!

Kennedy is 7 months old today!

Giggle Box!

While I was packing for vacation, I sat Kennedy in the moses basket. I figured she would hate it & start fussing to get out, but she loved it. She started giggling & couldn't stop!

It's Official!

Kennedy's 1st & favorite word is DADA or sometimes DADE. For the past two weeks she has been saying it a lot! Here she is saying "Dada!"

I don't know who is more excited about Kennedy's new word...Jeremy or Kennedy!

As you can see, she is very proud of herself.
