We celebrated our 3rd Wedding Anniversary yesterday and it was wonderful. Jeremy took me to lunch at Nick's, after lunch we played hookie from work, went shopping and to the movies. We had a perfect day! We are so thankful to have each other and a beautiful little girl. God has truly blessed us.
(Thanks Papa C & Gigi for taking care of Kennedy!)

Naa-Naa to Maa-Maa
That's right, Kennedy is saying Mama! She started off saying Naa-naa but has figured out how to curl her lip under to make the 'Ma' sound & now she is pretty good at saying "Maa-Maa."

Welcome Grace Elizabeth Stewart!
Our friends Brent & Jennifer welcomed their beautiful baby girl Grace on Monday, July 21st. Grace weighed 6 lbs and 13 oz and was 19.5 inches long. Jeremy went to visit the family in the hospital Tuesday night & the family is doing great! Kennedy can't wait to meet her new friend Grace!

Julie comes to Visit!
My best friend Julie, from Clarksdale, was in town the first of this week taking a class for work & we were so glad that she stayed a couple of nights with us! It was so good to see her & Kennedy was really starting to like having a new roommate!
Good Luck Julie on your Test tomorrow! We know you will do great!

The Sweetest Sound
Kennedy & I spend at least 20 minutes every day just laughing at each other. I don't know who thinks who is funnier? Sometimes I don't even have to say anything & we just start laughing! Those are definitely the best moments of my day.

Found her Shadow!
Kennedy found her shadow last week & like with every new discovery, she really analyzed it. She kept rubbing the shadow & following it every time it moved. She finally figured out what was going on after moving around to several different spots & realizing it went where she went! She was very amazed by her new find! What amazed me was how long I sat and stared at her.

Visiting Dad at Work
Today was a very busy day. First thing this morning Kennedy & I headed over to Neblett's Frame Shop (I spend a lot of time there these days!) & Jeremy headed to work for his semi-annual review (which went well! yea!!). After our morning errand, we went by Jeremy's work. Here are some pictures of Kennedy working away...
I have talked about all this framing I did to get Jeremy's office fixed up...well, it doesn't look like his parents or mine are going to make it by any time soon...so here it is...
This first picture is the OLE MISS wall with all his law honors.
This is the MS State wall..one certificate is missing..it is going to go above the bulldog.
Hopefully my office will be next!

Strawberry Puffs!
Kennedy really likes those Strawberry Puffs & we like them because they keep her entertained. Well today we went up to the Square in Canton to do a little shopping & to keep Kennedy entertained while in the store, we gave her some puffs. When Jeremy saw how much she liked them...he just kept refilling her tray!
And when she ran out...she decided to just help herself to some more! (She looks like she is saying "MORE PUFFS!")
If we left her alone with the container, she'd have that top off in no time!
Those things must have more sugar in them than I thought because this kid was wired all day!

Best Wishes Elizabeth & John
This evening we went to a Wedding Shower for Elizabeth Minninger & John Harreld. It was so good to visit with everyone & of course Kennedy was so excited to see Papa C & Gigi there!
Showing Gigi her pretty bow!
Hanging with Papa C
Meal time with Uncle Dennis!

Relaxing after a Long Day
After this super busy Saturday, Kennedy was in need of some R&R. When we put her in the tub, she kicked back, propped her legs up & enjoyed the bubbles! I was laughing so hard, I could barely run to get the camera. She is so funny!

Our little Song Bird!
This morning we went to early Church with my parents. Kennedy loves Church especially when everyone is singing. Well this morning during one of the songs, Kennedy starts singing as loud as she could. It was so funny! The row in front & behind us was dying out laughing. One of the ladies from the Choir asked if Kennedy wanted to join! Papa C was holding her & it was so cute he couldn't bring himself to stop her. Then when the music stopped, she keep singing along in her own little world. I guess kindermusic is really paying off!

Learning to Share!
The other night Jeremy talked Kennedy into sharing her paci with him. She wasn't too sure about it at first, but then gave in & thought it was a fun game! I was able to catch it on film...

The Beginning Stages!
Well, for those of you who know me well, you will not be a bit surprised to find out that I am already working on Kennedy's 1st Birthday. Anyway, here are the beginning stages of her Birthday present from me & Jeremy. As Jeremy always says...I've always got some project to work on. And yes, like the rest of my projects this will take the guys awhile to complete! Hopefully not 4 months, but as you know...I am not one to proscratinate!

Blowing Kisses
Kennedy has gotten pretty good at blowing kisses. Last week she even blew one to her Kindermusic class when they sang good-bye to her. That was also the first time that she gave me a real kiss on the check (close mouth, puckered up sugar...not mouth wide open!) It is amazing how much she understands!

1st Night with Papa C & Gigi!
Kennedy spent the night with Papa C & Gigi for the 1st time last night & they had a BLAST! Of course, Kennedy was a perfect angel & sleep so good for Papa C & Gigi. They can't wait for the next sleep over! Jeremy & I on the other hand, felt very out of sorts. It was very strange not having Kennedy here at the house. We really missed her, but were so glad she had a good time at Papa C & Gigi's!

It's Bow Time!
Kennedy finally has enough hair to wear bows. So the night before the 4th, I put one in to see if it would stay. I wanted her to wear it to the Strong Family 4th of July party to surprise Gigi. Gigi was so excited! Doesn't Kennedy look sweet!

She is Something Else!
I don't know how she did this, but the other night I saw something very strange on the video moniter & when I went to check on her...this is what I found....
Kennedy wiggled up to the top of her bed, untied the bumper pad & was having the Best time swinging her bumper pad around! She thought it was so funny! Now days she is sliding her hands & feet under the bumper pad & waving them through the bars...this kid is something else!
