What's Up...

with Kennedy....she is loving school these days & learning so much. This month they learned about their family, the color red, teddy bears, body parts, friends, things around the house, happy & sad & counting to 10! She amazes us everyday. The other night she said, "Mama, sit" & then got out her flash cards & starting calling them out to me. She said, "D, Dog, ruff, ruff, & "H, hat, hat on head." Some of the other letters she just had to name the object on the card but I have to say I was very impressed! She sings the ABC's in a fill in the blank method (i.e. she never misses the letter "P") & at the end says "now I know ABCs sing with me." She is doing great on her counting...I hope that means she is going to be good with numbers! She is very helpful both around the house & with Kehle.
Some funnies - She loves to give hugs & kisses & says. "Aww, sweet!" Loves to say, "Uh, Oh, Mess!" She thinks my name is "Babe"...when she can't get my attention by calling me Mama, she starts yelling "Babe!" She got this from Jeremy. He is always calling out, "Babe, where's this or Babe, come here!"

with Kehle...She found her feet a few weeks ago, laughs way too hard at herself in the mirror, loves Kennedy & thinks everytime Kennedy says "boo" or tickles her it is the funniest thing in the world, & one of our favorite new tricks is that she is putting her pacifier in her month by herself & most importantly she will do it during the night. She wants to get up & chase Kennedy more than anything. She laughs out loud at Elmo videos. She is an unusually happy baby & makes you smile just to look at her. She is definitely getting some more of Jeremy in her. She is going to have his brown eyes & her hair is still coming in really dark.

Here are some pictures from around the house this past month...
Always on the move.

They love doing things together!

We are so thankful for our little blessings! The keep us laughing & definitely make life worthwhile.

Kennedy Making Kehle Laugh!

Kehle

We had Kehle's 4 month checkup the other day. She is growing up way too fast. At her checkup, she weighed 12 pounds, 6 ounces & was 25 1/2 inches long. The Dr. thinks she is going to be petite like Kennedy.
For anyone who thinks that you can't have 2 good babies, you are wrong. I know I say this a lot but Kehle is truly the happiest & sweetest baby. She sleeps through the night, loves to play with all her toys & can't wait to chase Kennedy around.
Kehle has gotten so mobile that we have to be careful when using the bouncer or the swing because she can now sit up in them.

She loves to play on the floor but if you turn your head for a second she will have pulled herself &/or rolled across the room!

We started feeding her rice cereal the other day & she loves it! She figured out eating with a spoon right off the bat.

Kennedy

At 21 months, Kennedy is a complete joy. Her teachers say that she is such a sweet little girl, makes friends easliy, shares, and loves to read & play outside! She never has to go to timeout at school & is finally starting to eat something besides casseroles! She talks all the time now & is learning so much at school (which I couldn't be happier with!). She knows all her animals & animal sounds; working on her colors; can count to 10; tries to sing her ABCs; & the list goes on & on.

When she says, "Please, Mama"...I just can't say no. Kennedy gets a sticker when she uses the potty & the other night after she went potty, she kept asking for another sticker. Every time she would say, "just one sticker, please mama" & put that one little finger up, I just couldn't say no. After she had put about 50 stickers on her legs, she was done & took off running to show Daddy all her stickers!

Kennedy loves to read & will not go to bed until we read a few books. The other night I told her to pick out a book & get in the bed. I left the room & came back to this.... & yes, we did read every book that she had picked out!
