School Christmas Program

The girls' school Christmas program was Wednesday. Kennedy was a sheep & Kehle was an Angel. They were too cute.

Pre-Christmas Program pictures with friends...

Kehle LOVES being with Kennedy & really LOVES hanging out with Kennedy & her friends. Kehle wanted to be in every picture Kennedy was in & wanted to do everything Kennedy & the other big kids did....here she is realizing that she was about to be left out of a group picture.

One little angel & some cute sheep friends!

Kennedy did so good singing & doing all the hand motions!

A parent takes their little angel up to see the baby Jesus during the show. Jeremy & Kehle did great too...I couldn't believe Jeremy kept Kehle still for so long.

I know Kennedy looks excited to be a sheep, but it was a long morning (I mean 2 weeks) getting to this point. Since Kennedy found out she was going to be a sheep in the program, she started her protest..."I am not a sheep, I don't want to be a sheep, I am a beautiful princess!" The morning of the program, we had a very difficult time getting Kennedy to wear the white sweatsuit. Kennedy's side of the debate...went a like this.."This sweatsuit is ugly! It's too little. I need a beautiful princess dress! Where is my dress like Kehle's? I am NOT a sheep, I am a beautiful princess!" Finally, I gave in & gave her skittles to put the white sweatsuit on. Once at school, she slowly warmed up to the idea that she could be a beautiful sheep!

Merry Christmas!

Disney Princesses on Ice!

Before the show, Jeremy offered to buy the girls a wand or crown, but Kennedy said she just wanted to have her picture made with Ariel!

Kennedy was in amazement at all the other kids at the show & Kehle was trying to pose like Jeremy...

During the entire show, Kennedy kept saying, "I want to go out there & dance & skate with them." Towards the end of the show, she finally got up and danced "like the princesses!"

Dress Up...

Dress up is a big part of our daily lives. At any given moment, at least one child can be found either in a princess dress, highheels or wearing jewerly.

Lately, Kennedy has been very fasinated with the "costumes" that Brides wear. After attending a wedding & studying my wedding pictures, Kennedy decided that she didn't care what it meant to be bride or what getting married was about... all she wanted is to know was how she could get a wedding dress, veil (commonly referred to as "her wedding hair"), bride shoes & flowers. Well, Gigi showed up one afternoon with a veil, shoes & flowers & made Kennedy's year! She typically ask Jeremy to be her "broom," but if he is not available she will have me or Kehle stand in as her "broom." In order to "get married or weddinged" you have to walk across the room together with Kennedy's hand on your back & then she will announce that you may "Kiss the Bride." Whenever she is in Bride mode, we must take lots of pictures of the "beautiful bride."
(Side note, she hasn't dressed up as a Bride in a week or so, because she said she needs a white dress & would like yellow flowers because mommy had yellow flowers)...Jeremy commented, "I guess it's true, girls really do start thinking about getting married at a very early age."

Here's Kennedy trying to show Kehle how pretty she is with earrings (while Kehle eats a toy dinosaur!)

and when we get dressed up...we must take lots of pictures!!

These are truly the best moments of our lives...I pray my little princesses always feel this special & beautiful.
