Trick or Treating

Trick or Treating was a lot of fun this year. The girls loved ringing doorbells & getting candy. Every time they see a porch light on, they ask if they can go trick or treat those people. I am still trying to explain that they can't do that again until next year.

The girls LOVE dressing up & really got into Halloween this year. They were Bumble Bees for one party, Ariel & Ariel the Bride for School, Dorothy from Wizard of Oz for a family Halloween party, Sleeping Beauty for Gymnastics, and Peacocks for Trick or Treating.

No more Diapers!

This amazing little girl did away with diapers about 3 weeks ago and was the easiest kid on earth to potty train...

thanks to this amazing little girl....

Kennedy truly gets all the credit for potty training Kehle. For the past several months Kennedy has been taking Kehle to the potty and encouraging her to be a "big girl!" So when Kehle moved up to the "big girl" room on June 1, she was more than ready. When Kennedy realized that Kehle was about to start in her old room, she insisted that Kehle quit wearing diapers immediately so we gave Kehle her own panty drawer and never looked back. The minute Kennedy threw away Kehle's last diaper, Kehle refused to wear anything but big girl panties. Which meant we didn't even have to buy pull ups for night time. Kehle had 1 accident the 1st day at school (it was during her 1st time to play in the gym...the teachers said she was a little overwhelmed), but hasn't had another one since!
We couldn't be prouder of our 2 & 3 year old big girls!
They may not be perfect at everything, but they are as good as it gets when it comes to Potty Training!

Once Kehle figured out how to climb in and out of her babybed she started putting all the pillows she could find and her favorite books in the bed and then would climb in to relax and read! Whenever things got quiet...this is where I would find Kehle...
