Kehle

We had Kehle's 15 month check up the other day and she laughed through 95% of it. She weighed 23 lbs, 3 oz & was 32 inches tall.
She is definitely our little giggle box!

She loves purses & bags.

She is always on the go...

She loves spaghetti and loves to make a mess...

Thankfully, she has started eating with a spoon!

No more Diapers....

I mentioned in an earlier post that Kennedy is no longer in diapers! We probably should have potty trained her 6 months ago when she started changing her own diapers (seriously, she would throw the dirty diaper in the garbage, wipe herself, occassionally apply A&D, & put a clean pull-up on), but...waiting until she was more than ready made this whole process extremely easy. Basically, we gave her some panties, she agreed to wear them (it must be her idea or it's a no go!) & we never went back to diapers. She had maybe 3 or 4 accidents (2 or 3 were our fault for asking her to hold it) and then what seemed like overnight, Kennedy had mastered potty training! The best part about Kennedy being a "big kid" now is that she spends most of her free time potty training Kehle and the other babies around our house. Note, Kennedy picked up most of her potty training skills from the teachers at school.

Kennedy is always very supportive & encouraging.
She never rushes her students & is quick to tell them what a "great job" they are doing.

Here she is asking Kehle, "Where's the tee-tee?"

She is always there to help Kehle off the potty.

And she never forgets to wipe...

Kennedy makes sure that all potties are kept clean. She has been walking Kehle through all the steps...

and Kehle seems to be a quick study.

If the babies do good on the little potty, they eventually get to use the big potty. Below is baby Kenzie (lovingly named after their baby cousin, Makenzie) using the big potty!

As Kehle works to get the little potty ready for the next baby, Kennedy is encouraging baby Kenzie to use the big potty.

Some of Kennedy's students are a little shy and don't like a lot of attention when using the potty, so Kennedy will say, "I stand out here & listen for the tee-tee, you let me know when you're finished."

I can definitely say that potty training at the Hutto house has been very entertaining!

4th of July Weekend Fun

We had a blast at the neighborhood 4th of July celebration. The girls loved dancing with the band & were amazed by the firework show!

We spent most of the long weekend playing outside!

This is Kehle showing us her "Happy Face!"

Time Out

Yesterday morning, I was looking everywhere for Kehle. While I was searching the house Kennedy was fusing at her baby dolls in time-out. I heard, "Sit in corner! Don't move! Don't Talk, you're in time out! I'm serious!" Finally, I interrupted Kennedy & asked "Where is Kehle?" She replied, "Mom, she's in time-out with her friends." Sure enough, Kehle was lined up against the wall in time-out with the other babies....

Sweet Kehle was being so still & quiet in time out.

Cousin's Wedding...

The girls had a blast dancing with family and friends at my cousin's wedding a couple of weeks ago!
